The weekend-long Australian Running Festival was off to a flying start with more than 2,100 participants taking part across the adidas 10km Dash, adidas 10km Fun Run, and the adidas 5km Fun Run.

So far, the running festival has raised more than $200,000 for more than 195 charities.
